My best Answers are as follows:

1)      Hello ????. Yes, surgery went as expected. Thanks for asking.

2)      I am always feeling up to some challenging tasks about a computer.

3)      Thank goodness for recovery discs! See - I knew you could do that task by yourself.

4)      Pop Ups, Pop Ups! Get your free Pop Ups! ( This may be sung with any tune that is stuck in your head! ) Sorry for the accidental humor but it was great for me.

a.    I am assuming that you mean Yahoo Messenger. Downloading a couple of programs may deter or even stop this. Seems like you have already been hit by ad ware, spy ware, Spam, or all the above. Before you use the supplied recovery discs, it's always a good idea to unplug your modem, printer, and other devices. The Internet is always the last piece of the puzzle you want to put in place.

b.    The correct formatting procedure is to back up any and all files, pictures, music etc. Place recovery disc in and shut down your computer. Unplug your modem, printer, and other devices. (This does not mean speakers, monitor, mouse, and keyboard). Restart computer and let it do it's thing with the recovery discs. After system reboots and your Windows XP appears, then it's time to plug in devices such as printers, scanners, etc. DO NOT PLUG THE MODEM IN YET! If you choose to wait on plugging in these devices then that is fine also. Load and install any anti-virus, spy guards, ad aware, pop up stopper programs that suits you. Once you have protected yourself 'THEN GO ONLINE' !!

5)      Downloading such programs is what they want to sell you. Don't play into their game. They are most likely the one who put that on your

computer. That would be like you paying me for wrecking your car with no insurance. YIKES!!

6)      Please review 2).

7)      Please review 4) part b. and 5).
